RIVER ROVER IMPACT LEVELS

The River Rover is FoLAR’s mobile visitor and education center, a 38-foot rolling classroom, art installation, and science exhibit that brings the Los Angeles River to schools, libraries, and community events across the county.
Inside, kids can touch beaver pelts, smell native plants, peer through microscopes, and pour water onto a 3D watershed model. Adults learn how water flows throughout our watershed, where it goes, and what it means to live in one of the most altered urban ecosystems in the world.
But right now, the Rover is stuck.
One of its generator needs critical repairs, and without it, we can’t power the immersive, interactive experience that makes this rolling classroom so magical. No AC. No lights. No microscopes. No watershed model.
We’re raising $20,000 to repair the generator and get the Rover back on the road. With your help, we’ll continue bringing curiosity, connection, and climate action directly to the people.
